The Texas Association of Fairs and Events (TAF&E) was formed in 1926 to provide inspiring leadership, create agriculture and education opportunities, and develop strategies and techniques that enhance and advance the fair and special events industry. The Association is led by a volunteer
Board of Officers and Directors, who are elected by their peers.
TAF&E exists to help promote the value and importance of fairs, festivals and special events by being an advocate and supporter to our members, who have the same desire to improve their event.
The membership of TAF&E is made up of events and organizations from across the state and from neighboring states as well. It includes fairs and festivals of all sizes, including community, county, district, regional and state-wide events.
TAF&E also includes Associate Members that provide services and supplies to our fair and event members. From carnivals and entertainers to food concessions and equipment companies, TAF&E encourages fairs and festivals to do business with these reputable supporters of our industry.
